The broth was rich and flavorful, packed with onions but not overwhelming, and it included a bit of bread (unlike some French onion soups that are all bread). My only suggestion would be to include a bit of melted cheese on the side of the bowl. Next, we enjoyed the calamari, which was also delicious! It was buttery soft, and that tzatziki sauce—wow! So good. I highly recommend trying it. They also have a great selection of beers. Just a heads-up: they serve complimentary bread, so keep that in mind when placing your order. Additionally, there was stunning artwork on display. We were so impressed that we decided to purchase a beautiful piece that we will cherish in our home for generations. The staff even reached out to the artist, who came to assist with packing the piece for our drive back to Colorado.

I had the steelhead trout served with coconut rice and vegetables, while my mom enjoyed the bison medallions accompanied by seasonal mashed potatoes. For dessert, we indulged in the maple pecan cheesecake, which was heavenly. The service was among the best I've ever experienced; our waitress, Joanne, was incredibly attentive even during a busy time—she always seemed to be right there when we needed her. The restaurant's ambiance was beautiful and calming. I truly loved the entire experience!

I wish I could give it 4 or 5 stars, but I need to be honest about my experience. The food was solid for a small-town eatery, so I would still recommend it if you're looking for a place to grab a meal. They do offer game meat if you're interested in trying something different. Unfortunately, our chowder arrived with a skin on top, indicating it had been sitting out for a while. However, I highly recommend the Fish Pot; it really saved the experience for me. The mussels were also decent if you're a fan of them. The service felt a bit disorganized, and our server seemed annoyed when we requested extra items like more bread or utensils. She did apologize later for being short-staffed, which was a nice gesture.
