The wings were amazing and spicy and so was the butternut squash. The broccolini on the squash plate was barely edible however, as it was quite underdone. The host at the door was also great! View all feedback.
What Norris Stokes doesn't like about Authentic:
Good wine and beer selection. However kitchen miss managed, food took 45 minutes from the time we ordered. Manager said they were slow due to being slammed but the restaurant was only 60% full. As they were trying to cut time, burgers were over salted, dry and burnt. I would not come back until under new management. View all feedback.
We were going to eat at a couple of other restaurants in Jasper, Fiddle River for example was one, but we picked you two dinners in a row!
Eating and service at authentic are always first guess change no thing :
That was our first visit to authentic. the place has modern decor and has a casual restaurant vibe. the menu is limited but has comfort, including hamburger, mac and cheese and other favorites. it has a decent selection of cocktails, but tonight they had only one design beer on tap. eating is quite good, but nothing special to tickle the gums. our waitress was friendly and attentive and cared for our needs without being excessively intrusive. that is a decent place, but it is not an outstanding restaurant.
Fantastic service and the best burger in jasper! also fantastic cocktails and the s’mores dessert is a must try.
We had a rare adult family outing and we’re so glad we decided to go to authentic for our burger fix. Great food with a warm ambiance. Definitely recommend for a more sophisticated burger and salad than you might have expected.
