La Plazoleta, Jarandilla De La Vera

I've asked for a company reservation and they've treated me badly. That poor educated man is. There will be no place to do things that can happen to treat people like this.

Late dinner. We had a salad, “magro con pimientos” and cheese with a bottle of wine: Rivera del Guadiana. EXCELLENT! Please be patient with the waiter!

We were a party of 4, 2 Americans and 2 English, staying at the Paradores overnight. We decided to explore the small town and possibly stop and have lunch. This café was very close to the Paradores so we popped in. It is what we English would describe as a very local bar café populated by local residents. The food was quite basic but okay. I had a selection of tapas which could have been better.

Cannot go wrong here. Friendly and efficient service. Good menu with all traditional Extremaduran cuisine covered. Excellent value for money. Busy each night. Just below the parador. Recommend the gazpacho.

Estuvimos alojados en el parador de jarandilla y el bar lo teníamos en frente con lo cual lo visitamos bastante ,el ambiente muy bueno, los precios muy asequibles y a cada consumición una tapa a la cual mejor volvería a venir sin duda.
