Rockaway Eatery - Jamestown

Ive never met such worse businessman. The business is not the issue, the owners are. How are you going to be very successful, great quality food, always busy and then close the weekdays because you want to open a food truck? Im sure the owner was trying to go around paying rent. But the restaurant was always busy but the owners i guess made a bad business decision and closed shop.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. I have enjoyed everything I've tried. This is a hidden gem that should not be overlooked.

Well my foodies don't dance they just loosen they pants and... do the Rockaway. Lean back... Lean back... Lean back... Lean back... Do the Rockaway. Wanted to give a renewed shoutout to this place, as they recently pared down their hours pretty significantly to weekends only. I'm not sure the reason, but I am sure it has something to do with the pandemic and the reduced use of the large Gold's gym next door. Before that happened, this was an occasional breakfast stop for me for a fresh juice or smoothie in the morning, or when I wasn't being quite as good, a loaded bagel with a pile of cream cheese in the middle... which you will see in my pictures. All around, just a solid place to eat. Still enjoy the poutine when we get it on the weekends, bagels are usually fresh, never any complaints about what I eat. It doesn't ever completely blow me away, but you have to respect the variety in the menu, and the quality of the food provided. No, this isn't long island, and it doesn't really claim to be, but it IS a place worthy of your dollars and business. Stop by and see them!

I discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago while my family was in the area for photos. My daughter loved it so much that she requested it as her birthday dinner the following year. She wanted to come back again this year, but unfortunately, they were closed on her actual birthday. Recently, while house hunting nearby, we found ourselves right next to the restaurant, so we decided to stop in for a quick snack since we had some time to spare before our appointment. We shared the tikka masala poutine, and my daughter also tried a smoothie for the first time here. I had enjoyed the tikka masala fries on a previous visit, and they once again exceeded my expectations. My daughter said she liked her smoothie as well. We absolutely love their bagels, especially the blueberry with strawberry cream cheese, which is our favorite! The place was clean, and the service was prompt and friendly. Overall, it was another fantastic visit!

I absolutely love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, and their chicken salad sandwich is one of the best I've ever tasted.
