I've been visiting Forte for years, and the food is consistently amazing. Although it was a bit warm in the dining room and there was some construction happening outside, my overall experience was still excellent. I would definitely recommend Forte to anyone! View all feedback.

Forte is not what it used to be. Though I now live in DC, I stopped in because this used to be my favorite restaurant in Jamestown. First of all, the prices are DC prices. This cannot be sustained in Jamestown for long. The white rice that came with our meals was flavorless and cold. The meals were okay, but not for that price in Jamestown. I called to make a reservation. When I arrived, they had tables and clean floors. They asked me if I had a reservation and directed me to my reserved table. One thing I think needs attention in this restaurant is the amount of menus I read. I had 4 menus on my table. It felt like a library was all read. I ordered the curry chicken pots. It was so delicious. Puff pastries on top was flaky and the curry sauce was just the right amount of spice. Absolutely delicious. Another thing is that 2 servers did not know what to recommend. Most likely because the menu changed 2 days before. Please make sure that the employees try to eat so they know what is recommended. The restaurant was very clean and the menus also had cheap prices. Desserts were also very delicious and Across the Board I would say excellent portions and prices...
He liked everything about this place. Nice to see an older building with new life. Mussels app was great, the hot rolls were the best and our main courses were pig dog and Thai vegetables with shrimps) not only delicious, but plentiful portions. The restaurant is located near the Lucille Ball Museum. Very recommended if you are in the area
The food is is always phenomenal. Fresh, homemade...the menu is slightly eclectic, but something for everyone. Also, they appreciate the art of the cocktail. Great ambience, good wine selection. White tablecloth atmosphere but you can be casually dressed.
Your updated menu Post-Covid is not great, we could find nothing to order. Same problem with several previously nicer restaurants in the city center that...
