Pretty fantastic place to eat. Various types of food in this old converted school house. Flatiron steak and shrimp were pretty good. And the German food is really good, because the owner is a German... in the middle of nowhere like me. Great! The whole lady staff is super friendly and honest what I like. View all feedback.
What a fantastic dining spot! They serve delicious German cuisine featuring fresh vegetables and meats. The specials are exceptional. I've visited four times, trying something different each visit, and every dish has been great. The staff is friendly and attentive as well. Plus, you can bring your own wine for a small corkage fee of $3.50.
What a fantastic place to eat! This charming restaurant, located in an old converted schoolhouse, offers a variety of delicious dishes. I especially enjoyed the flatiron steak and shrimp—they were both excellent. The German cuisine is outstanding, particularly since the owner is German, just like me, even though we're in the middle of nowhere. Overall, it’s a great experience! The entire female staff is incredibly friendly and genuine, which I really appreciate.
The food was excellent, and there were several portion options available. The atmosphere was warm and reminiscent of a rustic countryside. It's truly a hidden gem in the forest.
Must order the potato pancake starter. Amazing! We love our annual trip to Bacara. Let the appearance on the outside you stop trying this place.
Great food and great friendly service..will go back again sometime
