While some find it lacking compared to other cheap Chinese food options, the friendly service and affordable prices make it a top choice for those seeking delicious and satisfying meals. With vegan-friendly options available, this spot caters to a variety of dietary preferences. The quick service and tasty dishes, such as flavorful dumplings and General Tso's tofu, have solidified its reputation as a reliable go-to spot in the neighborhood for those looking for no-frills, affordable Chinese cuisine.
My family has started to frequent this restaurant for meals. They are extremely quick and the food is delicious. The dumplings are incredibly tasty and filling, and the crab Rangoon is a real crowd-pleaser. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable, so we don't feel guilty about eating here often.
I have to be honest, if I lived in Boston I would definitely save some of this food for later. The portions are generous and it's a great value for the price. While I can't give it a 5-star rating, I have to give it a 5 because it's still very good, although I've had better cheap Chinese food before. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area again. I was looking for a place that was open late and this was the only option in the neighborhood, and it was a lifesaver. Overall, it's very good, the owner or worker is friendly, and I really enjoyed the food. It's a good deal for what you get. If you're not looking for fancy Chinese food, this place will exceed your expectations for affordable Chinese cuisine.
Might be the best chinese place in JP. definitely my go to. the moo shoo tofu is amazing! i’ve never seen anyone make it without pork. plenty of vegan friendly options.
The entrees at this restaurant are top-notch, especially the classic chop suey chow mein! The service is incredibly fast, with my order ready within 5-7 minutes of leaving my house on Oakview. However, I was unimpressed with their appetizers, particularly their fried Peking raviolis which were too bready for my liking. I was disappointed by the lack of seating options, as they have squeezed out their eat-in counter space. The front counter staff are generally quite rude, with only occasional friendly interactions. It almost seems like rudeness is a job requirement for them.
We order take out from this place at least twice a month and honestly we've never had a bad meal. It's always the same, ya know the basics, but again, everything is always well prepared and great tasting. I usually pick up our order so can't comment on delivery. The lady at the counter is friendly accommodating and nice, the order is always ready when I go in and their prices are very fair in comparison to other places nearby. I personally really dig the vegetable fried rice.
