Well where do I start , I 'm in a Spanish Town, Walking into a Restaurant , with an English Chef about to eat Chinese Food , I walk inside to a most amazing Friendly Greeting , it was reminiscent of being in The Cotswolds , a Beautiful Rustic Room Comfy sofas and a Welcoming Log Fire, Straight away I 'm thinking this is going to be a good experience . Drinks arrive , no rush to be taken to the Table , it 's yours for the night , let us know when you are ready Wonderful ambience , delightful smells , I 'm Liking this already I could go into raptures about the food , but I don 't want to spoil the surprises of The Delights of The Food they serve Friday Night is The Night for The Chinese Special Of course There are many more Dishes and alternatives to be Had Were are ploughing Through the Tonights offerings when The Chef, who it turns out is The Proprietor also, introduces herself to us, may I just add, I 'm there with my Wife on her recommendation, she has already been here for Lunch and The Famous Sunday Roast , I meet Natalie , and compliment her on Everything , she explains her Belief about food and the experiences she wants people to share And when questioned about tonight 's food explains that the only dish that isn 't homemade is the Soy sauce !!!!!!!!!!!! I really could carry on with more superlatives and praise , but I would rather you go along and try it for yourself and let you be the Judge, My next visit there , will be to Try the Sunday Lunch Apparently different meat Gravies for the meat of your Choice and Roasties to Die for Mmmmmmmmm I can 't wait to go back Thank You for a Wonderful Night xx

Here is a Review from my friend @Dave Long I am posting it for him Went out with friends on Sunday for a traditional English sunday lunch in Jalon. Went to Salamanca and we weren't dissapointed. Received a lovely welcome from friendly smiley staff and it was warm and cosy with the woodburner on the go. Homemade soup was delicious and choices of roast chicken beef chicken and pork all prepared and cooked to perfection with lovely roast potatoes and fresh veg. Finished off with rice pudding lovely, but obviously other choices of desserts available. We will certainly be going again, maybe try the chinese cuisine on friday night. Thank you Natalie and your wonderful people for preparing such a lovely meal, which I hasten to add is very reasonably priced. We will be seeing you quite soon.
