I went to this restaurant for the second time and had a fantastic meal featuring a variety of meats such as elk, Angus, and reindeer. The service was excellent, making it one of the best restaurants in town. I ordered the 300g tender pork flank, which was incredibly tender and delicious. While it wasn't cheap, the quality was worth the price. I can't wait to come back again.
This is a restaurant in the hotel Stadshotellet. I was here a couple of times and steaks were impressive. Draft beer is good, wine was also tasty along with food. Service was pleasant, polite and just in time. I can recommend this place.
Our party of 20 people had pre-ordered our meals due to hearing about the slow service at this restaurant. Despite this, it still took 1 1/2 hours to receive our starters and over an hour for our main courses to be served. The food was decent, but I would not recommend bringing international guests here for dinner if the service remains this slow.
The cozy ambiance at Ludwig's elevates the high-quality steakhouse fare. The intimate dining area is small yet comfortable, with a casual and friendly vibe that wraps around the bar. Both the fish and meat dishes were delicious, with elegant presentations that even elevated the beef stew to excellence. The licorice creme brûlée was also a delightful treat.
At the Steakhouse Ludwig I chose grill mix and enjoyed it. The meal was tasty and well prepared. The waiter was professional and knew the menu and drinks well. The restaurant looks old fashioned but that's the way for this historical and formal place. À la carte costs are little bit on the pricy side.
