We... read more We came to this attractive modern restaurant set in the middle of olive groves for a surprise birthday lunch with friends from Jaén. The food was excellent. We shared a wide range of starters: ensaladilla, partridge paté, lomo de orza (marinated loin of pork), cold salmorejo soup, tuna tataki and croquetas.... The main course was a choice of baked cod with a mayonnaise topping or 'pluma ibérica ' (grilled loin of pork). The dessert was to die for. I have no idea what it was: a sort of light 'natillas´ custard with a ball of something very deliciously creamy at the bottom! Not a brilliant description…. In short, it was a great meal and the birthday lady really enjoyed herself !!

Excellent place to have Spanish food with a modern twist. Service is nice and very professional. Although the last road to the re... read more If you are driving from south of Spain towards Madrid and need a lunch break, I don 't think there are any better options. Why? Although the last road to the restaurant is narrow, it 's very easy to access from the highway. No need to go to the city center where it 's tricky to find a parking spot. Lots of space to park right in front of the restaurant. Decoration and atmosphere are great and the service is excellent. Food is phenomenal! Cordero and cochinillo very very recommendable. For dessert the surprise egg is a must! Getting a check at the end took a bit long but otherwise absolutely nothing bad to say about the restaurant. Next time definitely same plan to stop here for lunch!
