the restaurant is located in the hostel of the same name, located in the village of Jadraque, province of guadalajara. the restaurant offers the best of traditional Castilian cuisine, made with fresh and good quality products. This very traditional and family owned restaurant is a must for those interested in tasting pure Castillian food. Ample menu choices centered mostly in grilled meats (the goat is delicious) and moderate prices make it a preferred destination for locals and tourists alike.
You simply cannot be around Guadalajara or exploring the beauty of Castilla La Mancha without trying the ceramic oven roasted baby goat in this lovely restaurant. We booked a table several months ago as we knew we'd be attending the superb Lavender festival in Brihuega, so we didn't want to miss having lunch here. Great service, atmosphere and value for money. We'll be back! Do not miss!

Llevo yendo a este restaurante desde que era pequeña. Es un referente en mi familia en lo que a asado se refiere. El cabrito y su salsa son característicos de la zona, pero en El Castillo está espectacular. Decoración rústica y atención exquisita. Lo que menos me convence es que el postre de la casa no es lo que era, antiguamente era más variado y se servía mayor cantidad.
El servicio es muy rápido y educado, el cabrito está para chuparse los dedos.
