Each dish that arrived was a delightful surprise, surpassing the previous one. The restroom was clean and smelled nice. I have no complaints about this restaurant, and considering the high quality of the food, one would expect to pay more. I give it a 10/10 rating. Even after checking the bill, I am still amazed at how delicious both my appetizer and main course were. Bravo.

Amara was open and the mediterranean influ... read more Literally discovered Amara whilst walking around Avenida Pastor Diaz having just arrived from our days in the jungle. Amara was open and the mediterranean influenced menu was a happy compromise in our car of 6 picky eaters. The menu has a nice variety of fish and pasta with some meat offerings as well. Everything we ordered was delish...especially the couscous and lamb dish. The best service we experienced on our trip was at Amara. I 'm not sure if they were owners or just people who took pride in their jobs, but the did an outstanding job of welcoming our family to Jaco. They should be cloned and distributed throughout the village as most of the servers we encountered were miserable. The atmosphere is quite pleasant and as a variety from the other burger or comida tipica signs one sees on the avenue try Amara. It 's worth it.
