We never miss an opportunity to dine here when we’re in the area. Excellent food, service, and a lovely, intimate atmosphere. Had lunch one day and went back for dinner the next night! The menu features lots of gluten free options and the kitchen is more than willing to make adjustments to accommodate food allergies. View all feedback.
What Isac Greenholt doesn't like about Wine Cellar:
I’m not sure how Wine Cellar is considered a 5 star restaurant! That was the worst food; I have had in a long time! The Fake Lobster Crab Bisque, the Frozen Crab Cakes , the dried out Bacon Wrap Scallops. Normally you may have one thing that is bad but my husband I both meals were horrible! What do you want me to say? my favorite restaurant closes, my heart is broken, I will miss the waiting staff and the excellent eating, treatment and location. hopefully we meet again!
We had a group of 11 participants hamilton, and the staff immediately took us and made sure that all our requests were met and we were served in time. our table had a lot of selections the filet, ahi thunfisch, chicken piccata, lamb, escargot, scallops, lobsterbisque, goat cheese and kily salads, etc. and everything was seasoned and cooked for perfection! we will eat there again!
I normally tip 20% or more, but I did not like the forced automatic 18% gratuity… and the service was a bit too casual/informal for an upscale restaurant… plus the food was very good but not outstanding.
We have been going to the Wine Cellar for over forty years. It is without question one of the top five restaurants in Jacksonville. Once again we had a great experience; the fotwas superb as usual, the service impeccable and the ambiance unbeatable.
Fried lobster tail specialty was good even better because added the fillet as well.
