You shouldn't miss Waltons Distillery. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and were the only customers at the time. Because of staffing at that time we could not do a tour but we're able to do the FREE tasting. They allow you to taste all 8 of their products. Don Walton’s distillery is one of the best I’ve experienced … all products score 100% with my wife and I … the distillery is a little over 2 1/2 hours from our home and we love the drive and experience of tasting all his products!
Don Walton has a gr8 distillery and puts on a wonderful Bluegrass show through the year! The food is off the chain … his staff are the best, most friendliest anywhere!

They have moonshine (different flavors), bourbon, and whiskey. A neat bit of trivia is that their method for making moonshine came from a gentlemen that operated an illegal still for years. Their gift shop has a lot of branded items. You can also get moonshine candles. There is a gravel drive and parking is not well defined so just find a place out of the way.
Had so much fun doing the tour tastings! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable nice! Not to mention, AMAZING spirits!
