The food was good and the server was very attentive. A nice hole in the wall with a upscale take on tacos. During happy hour they had good prices and portions for their menu. I had a drink called Paloma which was really good. View all feedback.
What Mounika K doesn't like about Taqueria Cinco:
This is not a regular restaurant for people who are hungry and eat a little more size portions. They have very less portions even though if we pay $2 entree they provide a size of appetizer.Don’t try this restaurant if you are hungry. Only go if your stomach is full. They gave only one small tortilla with some chicken on top and some cabbage no sides or chips were given as part of the dish. The taste of the dish was f... First time in that area of Jacksonville and we were really looking forward to some amazing Mexican food with our friends (a couple and their two kids). I had picked the restaurant because it seemed to have the best ratings for a taco place in close proximity to our hotel. The food was so and so with acceptable tacos, watery micheladas, but what follows made us all have indigestion. Food is not only about food, it’s also about the overall experience. We were seated at the 6 people table in the back of the patio and as we started eating, we saw a couple of rats in and out of the bushes next to the table. The place seemed to be packed and we were all hungry and had something planned and had already started eating to just stand and leave. I felt terribly bad because I had insisted on choosing this place. I am very respectful of the industry because we are all foodies, but this really ruined our experience with the waiter acknowledging they are aware about the rats and that there’s nothing they can do about it since the rats come from the property next door. This is the very first bad review I’m leaving and trust me, I find no pleasure in doing so. I’m just trying to help both the restaurant and future customers.Vegetarian options: Amazing that they have vegetarian options
Discovered a hidden gem for food enthusiasts! The flavors here transport you to a vibrant fiesta. From the moment you take a bite, you'll understand why it's a local favorite. A definite must-try if you're up for a tasty adventure!
This place can be a bit crowded, especially at peak hours of the day and more on weekends. The wait is worth it! Outside seating is available, summertime can be a bit hot and humid. This is my togo Al Pastor tacos place! (Offered only Friday and Saturdays).Generous amount of meat in their tacos.Another great option is the Ribeye Cecina and the Chorizo tacos.Servers are very welcoming and attentive! Super quick to serve. Food is ready in within 5-7min.
The food was very good. It's like a place to get a quick bite. I recommend the tacos al pastor, and that you get at least 2, because depending on the hunger that one might have, 1 won't be enough. Good thing to keep in mind is that these tacos are available Friday and Saturday.Agua frescas are also delicious.
