I got the roast beef, pastrami on pumpernickel and my wife got the hombre. Both sandwiches came with chips and a pickle. Food was fantastic. Definetely going back. View all feedback.
It has been about ten years since I was last in Jacksonville, and as always E Street has never let me down. The food, the atmosphere, the staff; all excellent! I had the Pastrami Reuben and Saurkraut, and can say that nobody does it better. I wish we had a European Street in Northern Virginia so my friends and family up there could experience the great time that I always have here.

Food is good but expensive. Desserts are exorbitant! One thing that stands out is the beer cheese soup. It is excellent!
I've tried multiple sandwiches here, and they have all been great! The sandwiches are so big that I have taken half home each time. The deli meats are very tasty, and the pimiento cheese is spicy and quite yummy. My only complaint was that my apple slices (chips substitute) were brown. The dessert counter is by the cash register, so it's difficult to pass up. I love the white chocolate macadamia cookies!
We thought dessert and hot tea. We went in and found a wonderful warm atmosphere. The most beautiful dessert case... Friendly staff. The menu is quite varied, I cannot expect to taste some delicious dishes. Tonight we have the Granny Smith apple cake, Italian lemon cream cake and a German chocolate cookie. Very good! We definitely come back to our next trip!
