Well this was my first time here after reading all the 5 stars review and this will be my last!! The lamb gyro was tasty and flavorful. The fries tasted as if they were cooked earlier in the day and then refried. The meat pies were not good very disappointing! The wait time was also very long! My husband and I have drive 2 hours just to go to this restaurant. We usually get the vegetarian sampler and always leave full. I love their spinach pie and they even sell packages of them in their freezer. Everything is homemade and fresh. The vegetables are fresh and flavorful. The last time we were in there (July 2014) the owner said they were getting gluten free pitas. He said he's going to try to incorporate more gluten free options too. We were there on a Wednesday and I tried the Wednesday Vegan Special which was stuffed cabbage. It was delicious and very flavorful. We've never been disappointed here!!
I had a vegetarian sampler today, which included tabouleh, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, hummus and pita. The tabouleh especially was just the way I like it!
I often stop by Jacksonville while traveling on I-95 before entering the vegan desert that lies north or south. Since this place was highly rated, I gave it a try. Great homemade (that's what they told me) pita, seems to have lots of vegan choices. They have a couple of tables for outdoor seating, which helps when you are traveling with your vegan pooch. I would definitely stop here again.
The falafel packaging and veggie kibbehs were delicious! also loved the basilikum and house salad
This restaurant has fresh hummus and fantastic falafel! it is a great place to bring their non-Veg friends so they can dine together.
