The Katsu chicken and Katsu sauce at this restaurant are delicious. The chicken is juicy and crispy, perfectly coated in a slightly sweet Katsu sauce. The dumplings are also very tasty. The macaroni salad may be a bit bland, but can be easily seasoned with the salt and pepper provided. The female owner is friendly and knowledgeable. What User doesn't like about L L Hawaiian Grill:
I attempted to visit this restaurant twice, but it was closed both times. Finally, I arrived today on a Saturday, only to find a sign on the door stating that they are closed on Sundays. It is currently Saturday at 6:45 pm and their open sign is still on, suggesting that the employees may have finished their work early. View all feedback.
Prices went up and portions went down by half. Not a good combination
Meet up with Ate Josie at her place, L and L Hawaiian grill, what a yummy comfort food on a chilly night! Saimin shrimp soup was a hit and a seafood combo, light breaded garlic shrimp of course with rice ? I recommend this place, try and enjoy the yummy foods they offer and the friendly accommodation they give. See you po there.
I love their food. They are always pleasant when we come to eat at their restaurant and my son loves the Macaroni Salad there, my favorite is the chicken katsu and the masubi.
We have had their food as delivery, but this time we dined in. Still great tasting. Finally someone knows how to make the sauce for the katsu without 5 pounds of sugar. Thank you.
If you don't stop here, you will be missing out. I drive 2 hours just to get there food! Katsu Curry chicken and spam masubi are awesome.
