I was looking for a place on the water, and found Hightide. While they are near a marina, there isn?t much of a view of the water. However, I like the low-key vibe here. They had live entertainment on Sunday afternoon, and I did see a few people couldbring their dogs if you?re into that. The tacos were good, and the service was also. Ton of parking. What Ki Brooks doesn't like about Hightide Burrito:
Sat at the bar and the bartender was nice. She offered me chips and salsa but never returned with them. She was easy to speak with. i ordered the El Jefe as a burrito with the ranch sauce instead of the horseradish. It was very good, just needed a tad more flavor on the rice. Maybe just some salt. The pineapple cider is now my new fave drink! View all feedback.
I ordered through DoorDash, and unfortunately, two out of the three items I received were incorrect. When I called to rectify the situation, I drove across town despite feeling unwell. Upon arrival, I was handed just a cup of ground beef for the nachos. The manager, Christina, insisted that this was all the correction warranted since the nachos came deconstructed, but as you can see in the picture, they were not deconstructed. I drove a total of 30 minutes to end up with just a cup of ground beef. When my wife called to ask for the owner's contact information, Christina hung up on her. If the owner is reading this and genuinely cares about their establishment, please reach out to me so I can share more about my experience.
We've spent a lot of money here on overpriced food made with cheap ingredients, but we were okay with that because we wanted to support a new local business with a friendly atmosphere. For context, my wife and I have a combined 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry and usually overlook minor issues, but this was just extraordinarily rude. To avoid any misunderstanding, the bartender in question was a heavyset woman wearing glasses.
I was searching for a waterfront restaurant and stumbled upon Hightide. Although it’s located near a marina, the water view isn't particularly impressive. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. They had live entertainment on Sunday afternoon, and I noticed a few patrons brought their dogs, which is great if that's your thing. The tacos were tasty, and the service was friendly. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available.
This place has a great atmosphere. Their food is decent. It?s very Tex-mex. The service was great. The view of the marina outside is beautiful.
Great atmosphere, spacious outdoor covered patio we enjoy all year round. Great food, they season and cook all their meats onsite. Great salsa and chips, the red salsa has great flavor, I just wish they would also make the green salsa as well. We werespoiled when we could enjoy both red and green salsa!
