The sauerbraten was NOT sauerbraten, they literally just dumped plain brown gravy on odd cuts of beef and called it Sauerbraten. It had zero tang. The schweinebraten had the exact same brown sauce on it, with random cuts of pork that were tough and chewy. The spaetzle was okay, the red cabbage was passable but somewhat lacking in zest. The service was friendly. If you aren't going to do sauerbraten right, take it off... View all feedback.
If you can’t handle to go orders, then stop doing them… I ordered the Wiener schnitzel with spätzle. The schnitzel was so hard I could probably knock someone out with it if I threw it. The spätzle… what a joke. I don’t even know what it was that I got, but it was not spätzle. Annoying that the food is pricey and what you get is not even close to what you paid
OH YES!! Let 's try Worldwide foods, We said it at the same time . So now we try every other week something new something delicious. This Wednesday we adventure to German Schnitzel Haus . OMG!!!! It was definitely different. Different GREAT!!. My babe tried the Bavarian platter which came with different kinds of different yummy sausages, slightly sauteed with onions with potatoes and sauerkraut the sauerkraut was out of this world) and I had the Sauerbraten marinated beef with ginger snap gravy, sauerkraut, and sauteed potatoes. Soooooo sooooo good . Of course, we asked for dessert and that was AMAZIN!!! It was the most DELICIOUS THING WE EVER TASTED!!! It was a cake CREAMY CAKE!!! with almonds. I don 't remember the name of it but I know I will definitely order it again on our next visit. Manager decided to cap off our meal by being rude, followed by inconsiderate. Judging by the condition of the restaurant and wealth of empty tables, this probably isn't a luxury they have... another soon to be dead restaurant.
Went here for the first time and left thoroughly disappointed with the taste of the food. The red cabbage tasted as if someone had put cinnamon in it. The Frikadelle tasted of pepper only and was over cooked, as well as too thick to be authentic. The Jäger sauce on the schnitzel didn’t taste good either, though the schnitzel itself was okay. The German potato salad was basically undercooked potatoes in too much vinegar. The cucumber salad was also too vinegary. The restaurant was clean, and our server was friendly. Can’t recommend. Won’t be back.
