Gator's Dockside Oakleaf - Jacksonville

My wings were disappointingly small for the price and overcooked as well. If I had known they would be that tiny and overdone, I would have chosen something different. My boyfriend ordered a blue cheese burger that had a fantastic flavor, but it was cooked well done instead of the medium he requested. With a movie reservation to catch, we couldn't ask them to remake our meals, and we had to move on without a proper meal. I’ve had good experiences with the food in the past, so maybe this was just an off night for the kitchen. However, it will be challenging to persuade my boyfriend to give it another try in the future.

I have to be honest—I’m not a fan of this place or the food. The boneless chicken wings I ordered were really just small chicken bites coated in honey.

The food was significantly overpriced, and the quality was disappointing! They didn’t have any gator tails available. The salad was wilted, the fish was overcooked, the oranges tasted sour, and the chili was dry. It seemed like the chef hadn’t been eating well himself all day! On a positive note, our waitress was wonderful, but unfortunately, that was the only highlight. We won't be returning.

Will be visited again. I would recommend it. they don't wait. the food was 51 before the drink. the service might have been better.

At dockside at 450pm I sat and got my water until 520 after I asked for the manager. whoever sat me would have notified the person who works the tables. there were three empty tables around me. the lady sat 4 ppl on a table and waited for her before I even got my water. that is, in my opinion, a bad quality of service. manager wasn't apologetic at all. she was more like passiw about all the history. there is a star today, a 1.5 got my wing on 535 the table next to me was already eating. Smh..Update. my waitress never came by to check me or my water. she looked from a far away to see if I needed water. then she appeared with a cup of water. after everything I asked about my bill and had to wait 10m. smh. that's a sad day at gator dockside. I felt invisible today. I raped my day at 625. Update...Never took the menu.Views?
