Crafty Crab - Jacksonville

This is our first visit to Jacksonville, Florida, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best seafood restaurants we’ve been to. Despite what other reviews say, we experienced outstanding customer service. Our waitress was not only polite and cheerful but also eager to assist us with any questions. She even demonstrated how to eat certain dishes. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, complemented by fantastic music. I would definitely recommend this place!

The drinks were great. I ordered the steamed oysters and crab meat fries, and everything was delicious.

I was quite disappointed with the steamed oysters; they were extremely small, although the seasoning was perfect. The steamed scallops were also on the smaller side, but the flavor was great. I tried the sweet potato fries, and they were good. However, the service was slow—I was seated for about 15 minutes before anyone came to check on me. The server was decent once I placed my order. I would consider returning on my next visit, but I won't be ordering the oysters again.

Hannah was excellent during my first visit. However, my second visit was disappointing. The bag broke, and everything spilled all over me. She had a slight speech impediment and seemed more focused on her phone than on the service.

This restaurant is strictly for adults. We truly enjoyed the food, and our server was excellent. However, we probably won't return due to the music. When we first walked in, we were warmly welcomed and seated. Initially, there were some Michael Jackson songs playing, along with other classics, but then someone switched to a station with completely inappropriate music. Thankfully, it was an adult night out for us. While I can overlook vulgar music filled with profanity, I certainly wouldn’t want my child exposed to it in that environment.
