on a Thursday evening in the juli landing bars for dinner. I order a $16 gin drink from the cocktail menu. it was ok, but nothing compared to the Tito’s with fresh pineapple and watermelon juices. our bartender/server was fantastic. she explained the sushi options and sizes very well. the ingwer was really fresh. this restaurant uses high quality ingredients. there were other menu option next to sushi. we would recom... What User doesn't like about Suda Izakaya:
Brought the family here over our vacation in Feb. and was not overly impressed for the price point. The food was ok/good but each dish is pretty expensive and the menu is designed so you're picking a dozen or so options depending on the size of your party. Excellent selection and excellent service. Our Morgan server offers excellent recommendations and excellent service. The price was as expected for the locals. Chef's choice sashimi had Hawaiian, Japanese, and New Zealand sashimi, with fresh Hawaiian seaweed salad. Uni nigiri and Citrus Tako. Octopus, lemon, tobiko, ponzu, shiso and tograrshi, presentations where visually appealing. Served with Junmai Nigori. Finished with black sesameis cream with sesame cream.
Awesome local spot! Wonderfully crafted wine and sake menu. Excellent assortment of food whether you eat sushi or just want a hearty bowl of ramen. Impressive house made sauces, desserts, and cocktail menu. Good looking chefs and very informative servers! You have to go!!
Had an special birthday celebration here and a great dining experience with Jen. She’s very knowledgeable about Saki and gave us a great recommendation. All of our dishes were delicious and came out perfectly timed. Highly recommended!
During our honeymoon in Jackson Hole, we visited SUDA Izakaya two nights in a row because it was absolutely fantastic. The service provided by our server, Morgan, was outstanding and we truly appreciated their recommendations and menu knowledge. The extensive menu made it worth coming back a second time. We enjoyed trying a variety of dishes on the first night and returning for our favorites on the second night. We can't speak highly enough of our experience at SUDA Izakaya. Thank you, Morgan!
We absolutely adore this restaurant. The modern decor sets a great atmosphere for an izakaya experience in a mountain setting. The service is top-notch and accommodating, as they were able to add some last-minute dishes to our order without any issue. The fried dishes were incredibly tasty, the grilled items were perfectly cooked, and the sushi rolls had a great balance of flavors and textures. The presentation of the food was like a work of art. The only letdown was the sashimi, which was a bit underwhelming for the price. Despite this, we had a fantastic experience and enjoyed celebrating our trip in Jackson Loch.
