Feedback
I got a popcorn shrimp meal from this place yesterday. Not even a hour later I'm throwing up and sick. Had to be food poisoning. I will never go here again. I'm also calling the health department. I am so sick. This place need to be closed down.
During a recent visit to my hometown of Jackson, I stopped by this restaurant for nostalgic reasons. The fish and shrimp tasted just as delicious as I remembered. I especially enjoyed the batter they used. However, the fried rice was a bit disappointing. I appreciated their COVID-19 safety measures - the staff member at the window was fully covered with a gown, gloves, double mask, and visor when I picked up my order.
The food at this restaurant was severely lacking in seasoning. It was so bland that even fish sticks tasted better in comparison. The 1 fish and 9 shrimp dish was particularly disappointing, as the shrimp had no taste at all. I couldn't even force myself to finish them. The only positive aspect was that the food was served hot.
I haven't been to the Jackson area in about 8 or 9 years, but it still feels as cozy as I remember. There's something special about the fried pannenforelle. I don't think they need to worry about closing anytime soon.
