DO NOT TAKE YOURSELF OR FAMILY to dine their!.. This weekend just passed was my mother 's 83rd B 'day. I reserved the party room/area for about 30 people. It was us plus other family members visiting from other states!.. We get their and IT WAS A REAL LIVE ROACH!!.. CRAWLING ON THE TABLE!!. I was sooo embarrassed/horrified. Hal and Mals consistently offers delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. The Tamale Nachos appetizer is substantial enough to serve as a meal for two adults. They were absolutely fantastic!
The Monday night blues show was fantastic! I definitely plan to return. My only issue was that my food wasn't hot.
Food was amazing, live music was excellent and then staff was awesome. Chris was an excellent server and had a great attitude and work ethic with our large group. Huge thank you for the great experience and food. If we are ever in the area again, we willbe returning for sure. Highly recommend. The gumbo was fantastic, and make sure to try the catfish nuggets!
