I had a delicious breakfast at the buffet on Sunday morning. Plenty of food is served and is refilled regularly. The staff are friendly and helpful. Granny's is a kid friendly place with high chairs. What Kris Ethington doesn't like about Granny's:
Sunday can only order the buffet. All the food was cold. French toast was dry hard to cut and cold. Tasted like old oil from the grill. The eggs were cold and tasteless. The potatoes cold and tuff. The ham and bacon was the only thing good on the buffet. Pancakes and syrup cold and pancakes tuff. No butter for them. The syrup needed to be hot to help make the pancakes better. Definitely will not be back! View all feedback.

Parking: The lot is small and parking can be at a premium, but I did not have trouble finding a spot because I don't mind walking a bit. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats are available. The staff are kind and gentle with children. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps exist at either entrance, but the doorways are old and may take some maneuvering to enter. I recommend using the east door to enter with a wheelchair.
The Midwests biggest secret? The abundance of down home cooking available to get your grub on. Ditch the corral and your basic buffets, pull a Johnny Cash and head on over to Jackson for a delicious feast of home at Granny’s! Fish Fry buffet on Fridays serves up hot fried chicken, flaky fried catfish, big shrimps, mashed potatoes, fresh bread and tasty potato, macaroni, broccoli and coleslaw salads. Creamy, delectable puddings for desert. All you can eat and all made in house. For about $16, cash only, atm onsite. Come on down for real food and real personality from the owners.
Dietary restrictions: My son and I are diabetic and we ate the breakfast buffet and we were pleased that this little diner had sugar-free options! Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20
Tuesday night special. The best Hot Roast Beef sandwiches I've ever had. It comes with a nice helping of mashed potatoes and is smothered in brown gravy. The Roast beef was lean and extremely tender. I highly recommend before the building is sold out from under Granny. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
