A must try if you’re in Jackson and looking for something different. Definitely pricey but the food was outstanding. The service was impeccable and if I could give it 6 stars I would! The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. The chicken shawarmawas so flavourful and not dry at all. The hummus was unreal!!! Loved the cocktails.
Really elevated, quality food. Not typically a fan of this type of cuisine but I loved everything I tried. Super friendly staff. Prices were not cheap, but typical of Jackson, and here I felt it was worth it. Lamb chops were superb and tender. Hummus wascreamy and the baklava was sweet and the dough was perfect.
First things first : I think the food was fantastic. The two stars is due to their service which was honestly extremely disappointing and also left us pretty annoyed. We were a group of 4 vegetarians and we ordered a baba ghanoush, spinach fatayerand a vegetable kebab. To our shock, they not our server but someone else) brought us a grilled vegetable plate and announcedit as vegetable kebab. Having seen photos of kebabs with rice I was initially shocked and enquired about the rice to which wewere given a very curt and abrupt “no we don’t serve rice”. We then asked our server about it he said we placed an orderfor grilled vegetables and not vegetable kebab and offered us to bring a kebab. He ultimately did bring one and we were chargedfor both. When our check came along we saw that we were indeed charged for 2 vegetable kebabs and not a grilled vegetable and avegetable kebab. The server just got our order wrong and refused to even acknowledge his mistake, and on top of it charged usfor something we didn’t order in the first place. Ultimately we had to grab the attention of our server, point out themistake and get it rectified in our check. I don’t mind having to pay for another dish that we originally didn’t evenorder. However, what really annoyed me was how the server conveniently put the blame on us when in reality it was his mistakeand the final check he brought us reflected that mistake. Even after brining the rectified final check to us, he mumbledsomething about it being a computer mistake. Not at all convincing and very much felt like he had no interest in acceptingit. Another thing that really annoyed me was that it was clearly mentioned on the menu that gratuity would automatically beadded only to parties of 5 or above, but to our surprise even for a party of 4, we were charged an automatic gratuity. Onceagain, I normally have no problems with that, but with the particular level of service and complete disinterest from our server,we
The food was very delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was exceptional. We walked in without a reservation and they were gracious enough to find us a seat. Loved the pita bread and the hummus. They were soooo yummy. We tried the lamb porkchops and chicken shawarma. Both were amazing. Definitely recommend.
I would give Figs a perfect rating. We decided to order a variety of dishes to share, and each one was some of the best Mediterranean food we've ever had. Our meal started with the PICKLES OLIVES appetizer, which included cauliflower and turnips. Surprisingly, I found the turnips to be delicious. The FATTOUSH SALAD was large enough for sharing, and on a hot day, this cool and crisp salad was much appreciated. It was refreshing and packed with flavor. For our main course, we ordered the FIGS FIVE MEZZE, which included falafel, za'atar fries, hummus, baba ghanoush, and tabbouleh, all served with house-made pita bread. Each item offered amazing, fresh flavors that were very satisfying. The pita bread was warm and fresh like little pillows. In conclusion, Figs provided an exceptional dining experience with its delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I highly recommend it!
