Dakota's Roadhouse - Jackson

Variety menu from steaks, hamburgers, salads and more. Most of our group had steaks ,I had French dip sandwich. Mostly everything was good just some things were not prepared as ordered. Some steaks were over cooked but in general food was good. Definitely would go again.

Visiting town, Jasmine was our server and did a fantastic job. We had onion loaf for appetizer perfect start! It is what you would expect from a roadhouse type restaurant, you can choose the meat you want cooked if choosing steak. Something for everyone.

Unfortunately I have to give this place 2 stars due to the result of my steaks. the reason why I give it 2 stars instead of 1 is because our server made a fantastic job and the beer was cold. my 16oz ribeye, which I ordered medium rare, was served extra rare, no taste and how chew on leather. after a long day of re-establishing the power of men, I was excited for a good steak, but instead I got the opposite of it and ended to throw it back to the parking space.

We knew better, we were on Mother's Day. we had a little waiting to expect when it is the most beautiful restaurant in the city and open on Sunday. our waitress was angry when they opened the outside seats, and she also had interiors. our food took a little longer to expect again. we had a party of 8 and that seemed the common thema. our appetizers were hot and delicious. my main rib was done a little more than I had preferred, but the overall experience was good, good service.

On a road trip we stopped here for a quick bite. first, when they take them to their table, give them menus and hot roll with butter. no waiting time. we ordered a generous pitcher beer for $8. carry, our waitress was lovely. we ordered 3 starters: beefy chorizo queso dip, meatballet and wild Bill’s chili. all were tasty, well seasoned and unforgettable. Sometimes they know that when the apps are good, everything else will be good. it made me sad to think that we would never get the chance to eat here again, because I know it would have been delicious and we just go through. all that was $30 without tipp. well done.
