Was Leah Dahlin at China Fun a mag?
This was an excellent choice! We nearly skipped this place due to some reviews, but we decided to give it a shot and it turned out to be a great decision. The food was fresh, the staff was friendly, and the flavors were fantastic! It's definitely a stop worth making! View all feedback.

What Sunshine Haynie dislikes about China Fun:
The front desk, managers and the chefs look like criminals flee from China. The food is aweful. The fish is dead although they charge it at market price. It costs 60 dollar which is too expensive for such a fish frozen for a year! The pork short ribs are not fresh and smelly. We could not finish our food, because we felt vomiting. This is the worst Chinese restaraunt in North America. Don’t come here, or you will re... View all feedback.

We visited China Fun multiple times during our Christmas 2021 trip to Jackson Hole and absolutely loved it. The staff were wonderful, and enjoying hot pot in the chilly winter was a real treat. We appreciated being able to speak Mandarin with the team, who took the time to chat and get to know us. They were also one of the few places open over the Christmas holiday. If you have the chance, definitely stop by for some delicious food and be sure to leave a generous tip for the staff.

China Fun is a great Chinese restaurant in Jackson. Both the server and the owner were very friendly. The food was delicious—I ordered the combination plate, which included a cup of soup, an egg roll, and rice. The sauce was excellent, not too salty and slightly spicy. By the way, enjoying Chinese food with a can of beer or tea is a must, as it helps balance the flavors and prevents the meal from feeling too greasy or salty, especially if you’re used to lighter dishes. Also, the restaurant automatically adds a 15% tip to the bill. I didn’t mind, but if you’re uncomfortable with this policy, be sure to keep it in mind.

What a hidden gem in Jackson, Wyoming! China Fun offers authentic Chinese cuisine, so authentic that I hesitated to order dishes like the intestine sauerkraut soup—not joking. I did try the crispy, spicy tofu, and it was absolutely outstanding. This restaurant caters both to those who prefer Americanized Chinese food and to anyone seeking the real, traditional flavors. Highly recommended!

Surprisingly good restaurant with a second manual serving authentic Chinese food. Most of the dishes are very good. Will go back again.

Yum! Try the items in their Special Chinese and Chef Specialties section of the menu. The crispy spicy tofu and dry pot dishes (beef, shrimp, chicken wings, lamb) are super delicious and have authentic szechuan flavors. I grew up in parts of SE Asia wherethe Chinese food is amazing, so I 'm thrilled to have a couple of authentic options available here in Jackson, it 's a nice changefrom the typical American Chinese fare. They also have the usual meal combos which include soup, appetizer and fried rice. Butmy husband and I went back twice in one week for their Special Chinese menu items. We went back again a couple of weeks laterand ate inside this time, tried the Peking duck and typhoon short ribs which were also delicious. The typhoon short ribs aredefinitely best eaten in the restaurant when freshly cooked. Friendly staff, we 'll definitely be back for more!
