Angry Rooster - Jackson

While driving through Jackson, Mississippi on our way to Colorado from Florida, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. Despite its unassuming exterior, we were pleasantly surprised by the interior of the establishment. The decor was unique with clean, stained cement floors and booths separated by fencing. We ordered boneless lemon pepper wings, a mushroom burger, and nachos. Everything we tried was delicious, with the wings being larger than those we've had elsewhere. The nachos and burger were also excellent, and the fries were particularly tasty. We wish we could revisit this place and lamented the fact that there isn't a location in Colorado. The food was top-notch, and the staff were fantastic, displaying great manners and friendliness.

I recently visited this restaurant for the second time. The Nacho Fajita was a good portion size and the customer service was excellent.

During my last visit, the manager was very rude about my online order. When I got home and checked my order, it was not what I had requested - they left out the meat in my taco. Today, my order was again incorrect. I paid for it but they still left out the meat in my taco salad that I had ordered online. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is mediocre. The staff is unprofessional, the cashiers are rude, and the chefs seem to be more concerned with playing around than actually cooking a decent burger and fries. The fries are thin and burnt, and the buns on the burger should be toasted. Additionally, when I am the only customer in the restaurant and only 2 meters away from the staff, there is no need to yell out my order number. Just bring me my food.

During my recent visit, the manager was rude when I mentioned that my online order was incorrect. My taco was missing meat and today my order was once again incorrect. I ordered a taco salad online and was very disappointed to find it lacking meat. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
