Juanitas Cafe (aka Piopio26)

This is an incredible hidden gem located right in the heart of Queens (or at least, that's what I believe). The menu isn't overly extensive, but trust me when I say their sandwiches are absolutely exquisite and delicious! It can be tough to choose between staying inside or enjoying the lovely decor outside. I really encourage you to visit and give it a try (it's a shame that summer has come to an end). You might not love every item on the menu, but even the drinks will keep you coming back for more!

The sandwiches were excellent, and the salsa criolla was spot on. It was almost as good as what I’ve had in Peru, but very close. I tried the pan con chicharrón and salchipapa, both of which were delicious. The service was also remarkably fast.

I enjoyed the Chicharrón sandwiches and ceviche immensely. It's a fantastic spot to unwind or catch a football match. The atmosphere is enjoyable, although the place seems a bit worn. They could certainly benefit from a better selection of craft beers, as the options felt a bit dated. It might also help to upgrade the coffee or consider getting a new barista. On the bright side, the decor is lovely and the service is excellent.

Great place to get a brunch. My choice is always the Lomo Saltado Sandwich.

First time here, and definitely coming back!! I am completely satisfied! The sandwiches were delightful to my palete. I recommend this place cause the food is good but even the ambient is super beautiful, the whole place is vividly colorful so it makes it fun. I had the sanguche de chicharron and my partner had the pollo a la brasa sanguche. We both loved it. We will be coming back real soon! Btw... the back is open so u get to eat and enjoy the weather plus theres also music ! Our waiter was polite and service was good.
