Feedback
This recently renovated eatery lures customers with its vibrant Mexican décor and extensive menu. While the tacos shine with fresh ingredients and robust flavors, the overall dining experience proves inconsistent. Many diners praise the friendly service and affordable prices, yet complaints about stale bakery items and subpar desserts linger. Some highlights include impressive margaritas and hearty portions, especially of tacos and nachos. However, long wait times and varying service quality from staff can detract from the ambiance. Overall, it remains a beloved spot for authentic regional cuisine, though improvements are needed for consistency.
Their shrimp tacos were very tasty, maybe a tad too heavy on the cheese. Overall it was good.
The food and service at this restaurant are excellent, but it may not be the best choice for families with children after 7pm.
There are a handful of restaurants that are a must stop for me whenever I’m back in Queens and this place is heavily on my rotation. I’ve been coming to this spot with my dad since I was in middle school(now late 20’s), this place has a very special place in my heart. Everything is pretty homey, you can’t go wrong with most dishes. My dish here is four carne asada tacos but recently I’ve switched over to their Birria; their consume is so rich. I love this place, there’s many Mexican restaurants near by but this place is the best in my opinion! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I now understand why it's hard to get reservations here. The dishes showed unexpected finesse. The individual items are reasonably priced, though complete meals cost more. Most importantly, staff demonstrates authentic warmth. The complete visit offered consistent pleasure. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure
