Caffé Bene - Jackson Heights
Caffé Bene
Description
Nestled in a bustling location, Caffé Bene offers a mix of intriguing breakfast and snack options. While the atmosphere remains pleasant and the staff attentive, customers have reported inconsistencies in food quality, particularly noting that many baked goods and desserts seem stale. Drinks like bubble tea and mocha lattes have been criticized for their preparation and flavor. Some guests have enjoyed the savory dishes, emphasizing the potential for a great dining experience, yet others recommend avoiding certain menu items due to quality concerns. Overall, while the service shines, caution is advised when selecting baked goods and soups at this café.

Came first time here and ordered a pepp mocha latte and a panini. the mocha was too hot to drink, the panini was cold after they apparently warmed it up. the chai latte was very sweet and exaggerated the milk. was excited to come here, but the last time I would come
Ordered mocha and they made it so hot, it took 30 minutes to cool to sipping the temperature. good bagels.
Caffe Bene has great food! Very delicious! I had the vegan mushroom bowl which was excellent! The staff are very polite but very slow service. I don't mind, I am retired. I appreciate the air conditioning on hot days, but there were 2 women here yesterday who were very upset that the service was slow. I don't want to see another business go under in Jackson Hgts. Please do something about this thanks Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
I just tried to order from Cafe Bene through the Too good to go app. I did not pick up the food due to false advertising by this location. On the Too Good To Go app, Caffe Bene advertised $15 worth of food for $5. However, when I arrived, the cashier offered me a single item—a small chicken sandwich that is listed in-store for $8.99. The sandwich looked unappealing and seemed close to, if not past, its expiration date. When I expressed my concerns, the cashier asked, How much did you pay? I explained that I paid $5 for $15 worth of food, as advertised on the Too good to go app. The cashier then refused to honor what was promoted through the app. As a result, I declined the pickup. This experience falls under false advertising, which is prohibited under consumer protection laws. Businesses are not allowed to make misleading claims about their products or services. Consumers have the right to receive what was promised. I am now seeking a refund for the misleading and disappointing experience and will also file a complaint through the FTC BBB. It 's about the principle. If no one complains, businesses will continue to misrepresent products and services. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
