Description

The restaurant has received mixed reviews. The food quality has been criticized as some customers found it to be subpar, with complaints about old and raw dishes lacking flavor and proper seasoning. Service was also a common issue, with complaints about long wait times, lack of attention from staff, and additional charges on the bill that were not expected. The decor was also criticized as tacky and mismatched. However, some customers enjoyed the homestyle meal, delicious kebabs, and Kashmiri chai. Overall, the restaurant seems to excel in certain dishes but could use improvement in areas such as food quality, service, and overall experience.

Highly recommend this place for an authentic and local experience. My family is visiting NYC on vacation and Kabob King was recommended by a local. It did not disappoint! The staff helped us understand some items on the menu and were very kind. We ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb chops, biryani, and, of course, naan. We also tried a few desserts. Everything was delicious and the spice level was perfect. We felt welcomed in by excellent service. It seems they probably specialize in to go orders as seating was limited downstairs. We came in the summer time so it was pretty warm inside but totally worth it for us to be able to enjoy the meal fresh. Such a disaster. Went there for a quick late-night dinner. Still had to go up front to order. I ordered a dish, but they gave me something else. I ended up going to the fridge myself to grab a salad and yogurt — big mistake. That’s what made me really sick the next day. I’d strongly advise against eating the salad or yogurt. They were terrible and had me sick Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Good dhaba style food. Chicken appetizers were the highlight.

1 Star rating because they delayed our order over half an hour, They gave us burnt food and hard food. They also charged us for water without telling us the water was being charged. The bread was really dry and they didn’t even give us proper salad orsauce. The plates were not even cleaned properly which disgusted me. Overall this was a terrible experience I recommend that youdo not go here.
