Very helpful staff and when I paid the bill I honestly couldn't believe how reasonable it was. Great bustling atmosphere all added together a great evening. We have a friend arriving today so we may take him here, it was that good !

Both visits exceeded our expectations, in fact the best eating experience in our tour in Spain. The selection of tapas and pinxtos is big and they taste as good as they look. We decided to go there again for dinner and arrived at 8 PM to be sure to find a vacant table. We were a pair and wanted to try several of the tempting dishes. All dishes can be shared without problems. We started with a selection of 6 cold and hot tapas and continued with two raciones of lamb pate and beef tatar. Very delicious. The house ' white wine and red vine were both very good. Finally I had coffee with a glass of brandy and my wife enjoyed a glass of the local Paxaran liquor. The restaurant looks like a bar as the name indicates. But the food and wine they serve can match what you are served even a good restaurant. The bar is often filled up and the service may appear a little confusing for a foreigner. But relax, the staff is competent and will take care of you. For dinner, arrive early (8 PM) and take an indoor table. The prices are attractive compared to the quality that you get (56 Euro for two with plenty of good food and several beverages).
