Good flavor and huge portions. Extremely good service. The manager (I do not know if it was the owner) was very alert of the guests. I am mexican and I do not like the decoration (seeming an old mexican bar -cantina- with huge mexican hats and a virgin of guadalupe) but it was very succesful with the guests on another table who where obviously foreigners. This restaurant has changed owners several times over the past few years. Last year under a different name, it had the best tortilla soup we have ever tasted. This year, the tortilla soup was totally different. It was good but not as good as last year. This year the dry contents are served to you in the bowl and the server pours the broth for the soup over the dry contents at your table. Interesting presentation but... View all feedback.
Always loved the place in the past. Best coconut shrimp. Staff was very accommodating. WAS.2015-not so good. We stopped in the Sat. before the Super Bowl. No Victor. Yes, Super Bowl will be in English. But it wasn't and no one there spoke very good English. So left. Tried it again a couple of days later. They had a waiter now that spoke pretty good English. Said menu was same as before. WAS. Before the shrimp included rice and steamed vegetables, OK to sub baked potato for rice, no charge. Now the price on the menu for the shrimp was for shrimp only. Chraged 60 pesos for a baked potato and got no steamed vegetables. As good as the coconut shrimp was not likely to try it again. BTW....Victor is now at The Blue Shrimp.
Loved the food and the Victors..we had an mozzarella stick..log starter with a green sauce was awesome. I should of taken notes. Everything was fresh and we loved every bite.staff took good care of us. credit cards worked. also had shrimp stuffed with cheese and rolled in bacon. This too was fantastic.
The restaurant is very colourfully decorated with lots of seating and although it overlooks the parking lot, there is great people watching and the beautiful boulevards are just beyond. We ordered the "Infierno" special which included eggs mixed with sausage, bacon, pancakes, juice and coffee. The server brought toast and jam before the breakfast arrived and was included in the meal. Although the menu doesn't have a section for smoothies, they do make them and are cold and delicious. Very good food. We ate there twice on this vacation and liked it better than the breakfast at Momma Norma's.

My husband and I ordered from the appetizer section of the menu for our entree: fish strips in a vinaigrette. It kind of like a cerviche but not soupy. We were a little skeptical at first when it was served to us but it was so delicious. Would definitely order it again. And, of course, there were 2 for 1 margaritas! Ole!
