Oishii Bowl - Ithaca

Everything is absolutely delicious at this restaurant, one of my favorite spots in the city. However, I am often surprised by their hours and find that every time I crave their food, they are unfortunately closed.

Spacious restaurant offering affordable and quick Asian cuisine, always a reliable choice. I just wish it stayed open later! Those craving a delicious bowl while studying late at night won't be disappointed!

The katsudon was extremely salty, likely due to the soy sauce used in its preparation, making it difficult to finish even half of it. Additionally, a small strawberry pink drink with jelly in a container was unexpectedly added to my order, but it was overly sweet and reminiscent of cough medicine. This combination seemed out of place and could have been served on the side instead. Overall, the dish was lacking in flavor and the pork cutlets were soggy, despite only being 15 minutes old. My expectations for restaurants in Ithaca were not met.

Great food and great service. the person at the desk was super nice. I recommend this place!

Yum Gai Sab is off the hook. Best bowl on their menu. I’d go to lunch everyday here if I could.
