such a nice building market. quite a lot of bakers, grocery dealers and other local producers of delicious things. very well organized, everyone was so friendly; it made for a pleasant experience. we have picked up some delicious items to take home and enjoyed the breakfast at the lake in the back. it was great that there was parking and there was no hunting. we did it at 9 o'clock. those who arrived after us waited... I have visited many farm markets all over the country, and this one is hands down the best. There are many great food options and cool suppliers offering everything from coffee, burritos, Thai food, samosas, and more. Whether you're looking for prepackaged meals or fresh vegetables to take home, this market has something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit!
There are numerous vegan brunch and lunch choices, as well as a wide selection of fresh produce to choose from. This is definitely one of the best Farmer's markets I have ever visited.
This market is very popular, so it's best to come on foot or by bike if possible - or be strategic in finding a parking spot! There are numerous organic farms and orchard providers, as well as fantastic bakers using local grains, and some unforgettable food stands. I particularly enjoy Macro-Mamas - offering vegan, seasonal, and delicious options. There are plenty of vegetarian-friendly and vegan choices on different levels of the market. Benches and picnic tables overlook the sea entrance, and this well-organized, outdoor market includes restrooms, an information desk, and a covered area near the open-air churches. The market is open on Saturdays and Sundays, so be sure to check the website for information on vendors and hours. Saturday is the busiest day, but I look forward to reviewing the Sunday market soon.

This place is so charming. I love visiting everyone when I am at the weekend in ithaca. this is not like its typical building market, but it is an enchanting experience with more art/art crafts instead of producing a no-frills market. there are often live music on the water, and they can walk for hours and get an incredible lunch or coffee on one of the providers. a must for people who visit the opposite. the parking lot could be (gets full quick) and the prices are a little higher than what most people would expect from a farmer market, but for me, do not distract it.
