Maybe we just came on an off night. The food and service were average. Maybe they were still tired from the tourist season. We ordered the spaghetti with mantis shrimp sauce and the fish of the day with seasonal veggies. Both were ok, though lacking somewhat. Beautiful settings, especially the courtyard. Friendly staff with enough English to our lack of Italian. Delicious meals, all fresh/seasonal and, tasteful and served immediately.
This place was found during the exploration of the strip of bars along the canal. Booked for a few nights later, as it fully booked and had good online reviews. When my reservation came, I doubted my choice. HOWEVER, the food was completely delicious and lovingly made. The service was friendly. Not the tiredness of tourism I found in other places in the city. I would imagine the menu changes depending on the season, but the chocolate pudding I had a smile on my face that kept the rest of the night! Good walk!
