We are welcomed although we reserved the table just 30minutes before our visit. The place is close to the university of venezia and the basilica of Santa Maria gloriosa. All the food is a typical Venetian. We ordered tartare di tonno, spaghetti al nero di seppia, and gnocchi con crema di salmone. Everything is very tasty. the server were incredibly nice. the house wine is very good and cheaper than soda or water. the lasagne is very fresh and tasty. we were served brot and small toasts with olive oil above, which was very pleasant. the carbonara was a good one. it had exactly 3 pieces of guanciale, and the rest was only pasta with soned. very bland, as it missed the guanciale for this kick of taste. they also had to remember several t... The food was decent and the service could be better.
Beautiful location not far from the Grand Canal. The steak was one of the best I've ever eaten and the mixed seafood plate we had as an appetizer was also first class. My favorite, however, was the scallops we also enjoyed as starters.
