Thirsty and craving a little refreshment, the shady terrace of the Krudo restaurant seemed like a godsend: fresh air, plenty of space for our luggage – just what we needed for this moment of arrival. We shared a portion of avocado bruschetta with a refreshing Crodino and mineral water. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel instantly welcome. Both the drinks and the food were to our liking, although we would have preferred a bit more seasoning and a little less balsamic vinegar on the bruschetta. So there we sat, content and a little relieved to have finally arrived in Como – delighted with this first, uncomplicated place that had given us such a warm welcome.
