This location of DZ is larger and has better seating than another in downtown area visited in the past. Many booths. The food rivals Din Tai Fung. We had Pork Xiao Long Bao, Pan fry Ground Beef and Pork too, Beef Burrito roll, Sweet Sour Cucumber, Broccoli, Beef Pockets, and every single thing was great. We ordered To-Go for 8 people and they handled the walk in order in less than 25 minutes. Worth every penny. Recom... View all feedback.
What Tasha Van Der Meer doesn't like about Dough Zone Dumpling House Issaquah:
I was very disappointed with my experience. The soup dumplings were quite bad; the skin was too thick and oddly twisted, causing them to burst open as soon as I touched them. The pork wontons, served in hot and sour and chili sauce, were very small – it felt like I was mostly just eating the wrapper. They had good flavor, but I wish they were a more typical size. Place accommodated 20+ of us, albeit not one table.. but still! Nice assortment of food for the kids to enjoy. Staff was nice service was quick.
Came here after running a marathon! Good: Easy ordering experience, tons of variety Solid quality food, I loved the XLB and the fried pork buns The sliced cucumber was beautifully cut The food all comes out quickly and the servers are fast at bringing things out as they are ready Bad: Casual place, not a super fancy ambiance The jianbing wasn't super flavored Overall this was a great find in a somewhat random location!
It took too long time to wait so I had to cancel my order, at the time only about half tables were used. Talked to the manager, and turned out to be not helpful
We ordered shrimp zucchini dumpling but what we got was vegetable dumpling filled with carrots, cabbage, and tofu. It turned out that three of them on that plate which we ate were vegetable dumpling, the other ones were shrimp zucchini dumplings. I never saw this kind of mix-up. Also the general quality of food is not as good as Din Tai Fung.
Waited 30-40 min for soup dumplings. Suspect they accidentally gave them to another table. Food was fine but the wait was just too long.
