We tasted a variety of food from the region... read more We went to have lunch to this bar and we loved it so much that we returned for a second try. The food was delicious. We tasted a variety of food from the region (organic food) and also some types of different wines. The owner was very kind, always explaining what we were eating and drinking. Although it can seem that it is a bit more expensive than other venues, it is worth it because you are having quality food. I really reccommend it!

Dry bread and... read more Visited this restaurant on Sunday evening for my birthday after reading fabulous reviews and photos. What a disappointment. The food was terrible. Dry bread and poor bruschetta, deep fried everything. Ordered buffalo mozzarella. How can you get that wrong. Poor quality dried cheese with a handful of rocket. The service was good and the barman was helpful and served a fabulous gin and tonic. The food was very poor quality and ruined our evening. We left most of it on the plates.

The person working there really took the time to explain us where every product was coming from. He was very nice and you could tell that he wanted us to try as many things as possible. We tasted some great wines from different regions. We ordered a big player, which included : Home-made bread, Cheeses with marmelade, Sausages, bruschetta with different topings, olives, nuts. In the end, he even gave us a taste of Modica chocolate and sweet Sicilian wine for free. This is a quiet place and I would definitely go back if I am in the area.

Wonderful stopover, wonderful sicilian snacks, bruschettas, cold cuts etc. Lovely service and wine choices.
