Howeve... read more My experience ordering from Zia's on Saturday night was disappointing. We were initially told that our delivery would take an hour due to their busyness. However, 1 hour and 15 minutes later, we received a call from the restaurant informing us of a delay and that our order would arrive in 5 minutes. After waiting another 15 minutes, we called to inquire about the status of our food and were told it would be no more than 10 minutes. Finally, 15 minutes later, our order arrived. The delivery driver was apologetic, but the lukewarm curry we received was underwhelming. Additionally, the mixed tandoori grill was missing the king prawns and instead contained a rubber-like meat substitute. On a positive note, the rice was enjoyable.

Despite being told our food would arrive in 45 minutes, we ended up waiting for over an hour. After several frustrating phone calls, we finally received our order two hours later. The manager offered us a mere £3 off our £40 order as compensation, which we found unacceptable. The delivery man also became aggressive when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the experience. The food itself was mediocre at best, with stale naan bread and overly salty curry. We regretted spending £15 on the meal and had to deal with unnecessary drama and hostility from the restaurant staff.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent value for money. I will definitely be dining here again soon.
