Three Compasses - Islington
Three Compasses
Description
Nestled in the heart of Farringdon, The Three Compasses offers a mixed dining experience, with a vibrant pub atmosphere and a quieter upstairs restaurant. The Thai food has received varied feedback; while some praise its authentic flavors and fresh ingredients, others have criticized it as mediocre, with issues like oily spring rolls and underwhelming portion sizes. Despite questionable cleanliness and inconsistent service, the bar boasts a solid selection of craft beers and local ciders. For those seeking a casual pint or quick meal, it presents an appealing option, though diners may want to approach the Thai offerings with caution.

Absolutely banging burger and gin (and jäger) but maybe have some cucumber for the Hendricks next time. Still 5/5
Popped in here for a couple of pints out of the rain before catching a tube from nearby Farmington station. Very quiet on a Thursday afternoon, but friendly service.
Small family run restaurant upstairs. Simple thai food that's nice enough. Lunch menu is good value.
