Jerusalem Tavern
Description
Nestled in the heart of Clerkenwell, The Jerusalem Tavern is a cherished pub steeped in history, dating back to the 18th century, with its current iteration established in the 1990s. Renowned for its extensive selection of St. Peter's Brewery ales and reasonably priced whiskies, this cozy establishment offers a warm atmosphere and friendly service. Visitors adore its quaint nooks and intimate seating, despite its compact size making it a coveted spot. I'm confident to say that jerusalem tavern is my favorite pub in london. it is the most precious, coolest, most quirkies and most authentic pub I ever had. the staff is also nice and very helpful. the place has so much history, they can only see it in every chair, every table and in every corner of the pub. there is a small seating area at the top of the stairs, which is up to three people square, that is my favourite place. although I love the place for what it is, I find it frustrating how small it is. they have to be happy to find a place, so if I want to go there, I try my best to get there before the close offices close, so I can find at least one place.
A cozy london pub with great beer (st peters brewery) and an open fire. immersed for a couple of naughty lunches, plumen porter irish cream stout that were fantastic. will definitely visit again soon.
A unique and very special iondon pub experience. fresh beer directly from the barrel in a historic building that lets them think that pepys and thickens could go in every second. also decent pork!
What a charming place, thought I'd stumbled into an old village pub. All wood, craft ale and genial friendly locals. No music, machines or screens.
The Jerusalem Tavern is a fantastic and historical pub in London. Although its origins date back to the 18th century, it was officially opened as a pub in the 1990s. The main attraction here is the St. Peter's brewery beer from Suffolk, along with a variety of cheap whiskys. The atmosphere is great with cozy corners and friendly bar staff. They offer hot meals and affordable alcohol options. It's a true gem in London. Please note that The Jerusalem Tavern is open on weekdays at 11:00 AM and closed on weekends.
