Honest Burgers Kings Cross - Islington

Lovely lovely evening. Great tasty burgers, incredibly kind and helpful staff. The chips and spicy mayo are to die forNice music! Special shoutout to Yasmine (hope I got it right) for being there for us.

1st time on one of these. Was all pretty good no complaints. Food all arrived quickly as per order. It was really quiet at the time though, so can't comment on what it'd be like when it's full? But no complaints I'd have it as a similar alternative to a gbk (but better cooked)

Very interesting restaurant chain: here they take care of the food from scratch to the table. Honest Burger has in fact focused attention on honesty, contained in the name, which offers meat directly from their butcher's shop, British potatoes from local farmers, cooked twice and salted with rosemary. Everything is fresh, nothing is frozen and you can feel the quality! Well done

Our server was so genuine. She cared about our experience and valued our opinions. She also referred to me as love in that way English woman do. That was very cool.

The food was decent. Our waitress was good, but the guy who I assume was the manager was pretty useless. We arrived as a group of four, with two more arriving soon. We asked for a block of six chairs which were around three small tables near a window. We were told we could go downstairs or take a table for four, because we were only a group of four people. There were plenty of other tables available. We ended up taking the table for four and then cramming our two other guests on the end when they arrived. The manager kept banging into the back of my chair every time he walked past, because there wasn't even enough space in that spot for the table of four to begin with. He knew that and put us there anyway... Makes no sense.
