What Robert Bridgeroad likes about Benugo Clerkenwell:
It’s not the most exciting place to eat. But all the sandwiches are freshly made with salads bowls also being offered. However it does provide a fresh and healthy lunch or breakfast. Should you desire one. View all feedback. What grahame820 doesn't like about Benugo Clerkenwell:
I used to go to Benugo every day for my green tea. However, since they put the prices up by more than 40% I've stopped. Also, I'm fed up with the poorly organised service which means that even at quiet times you can end up waiting ages to be served or to receive your drinks. At busy times forget it. View all feedback.

It is a nice place to stop for tea and snack in the a surprisingly quiet setting just off of the main road... It's why I keep going back!
Have to review again because every time I go, which is fairly often, it just seems to get worse. New manager tries hard but some staff and service generally rea...

read moreBenugo Clerkenwell, the original location for the chain, serves a variety of deli offerings in a bright space. Despite a lack of freshly made food, a hot food station with friendly service shines. The coffee is average, but the ambiance is pleasant. Pricing can be high, and service inconsistent. Some customers experience rude staff, while others find compassion and kindness. Overall, the food is decent enough for a healthy and fresh choice in the Farringdon area. While the menu may not be exciting, quality espresso and a warm atmosphere make Benugo a convenient spot for a meal or snack.

The coffee was excellent and the service was impressive as well.
I went to this restaurant today for a very reasonably priced coffee (especially given its location). The staff were delightful and the coffee was excellent.
Nice place! I was there at 4pm and enjoyed a good soup, although most of the cooked food was finished by that time. The bread that came with the soup could have...
