I went about a year ago but I still recall I had a good experience. I had just been with friends at the Rosemary Branch Theatre down the road and my cousin suggested sushi. I was fairly pleased with the food then and the sake I tried (Dewazakura “Oka” Yamagata). Though I can't say the quality beat my experience in Japan, this place certainly still has it's draws. I used to love this place and go there all the time. Great sushi, reasonable prices and super helpful staff. The new management taking over is incredibly unhelpful. I called them to make a booking flagging that I was loyal customer and i have been going there for the last ten years. My husband and I stopped by for lunch and had a delightful meal. Everything we ordered was delicious! We highly recommend this place and will definitely return next time we are in the area.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Our favorite dishes included the Aburi truffle tuna, wagyu, assorted nigiri, and salmon roe. The cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was welcoming and friendly.
Food was fresh. Service was below par. No atmosphere. Not particularly welcoming. Menu is not terribly long but good enough. Not sure I'd go back.
