Howe... read more In my opinion, it is way overpriced for the value that you get. While pricing is outrageous, I can't comment much on it everything is expensive these days. However, the quality of the food is definitely subpar overcooked meat on one plate and completely rare on a other for the same meal ordered, as an example. Service... read more Decent little spot with a historic touch. My wife and thought this place looked interesting on our drive up the OLD Sac and decided to give it a touch. Service was very fast and friendly. The historic pictures and literature to read hanging on the walls was very fascinating and fun to read. The place was not overcrowded and there was plenty of seating, although my booth seat was blown out and uncomfortable. We ordered a steak dinner and a salad. The steak was cooked perfect medium rare and my horseradish appeared home made. Flavor was bland and price was steep. except the cream corn was amazing Pricing could be a reflection of current the economy, the state of California or other factors the restaurant can not control. We would probably come back and try different menu items because there was some variety to choose from .
